What we verified

Official files: we verified the SHA-256 checksums of the official macOS v0.7.0 universal DMG and CLI archive. Windows and Linux file names were checked against release listings; we did not run those builds. The pinned v0.7.0 release identifies the tested version; latest links help find current software.

Desktop walkthrough: the macOS interface was used to open an original PNG, apply Curves, save .pcraft and PNG files, and reopen the working file. Screenshots, input and outputs document that run.

PSD engine tests: four original RGB8 fixtures were opened, saved, reopened and exported with the official CLI. Results and the downloadable test pack separate pixel comparisons, metadata readback, actual text editing and untested features. Photoshop was not run.

Browser inspector: this separate tool reads the fixed 26-byte header. It does not verify layers, full file integrity or application compatibility.

The homepage workbench is an original illustration. Tutorial and mask images are actual software screenshots. We do not publish invented ratings, user counts or speed benchmarks.
